Welcome to Mic2Money. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Mic2Money (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using Mic2Money, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Name, username, and profile photo
- Email address and phone number
- Payment account details (Venmo username or CashApp tag) provided during sign-up for the purpose of processing payouts
- Contest submissions, audio tracks, and other content you upload to the Platform
- Communications you send to us, including support requests
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers (device ID, OS version, app version)
- IP address and general location data
- Usage data: features accessed, pages viewed, contest rooms entered, ads watched, and voting activity
- Ad interaction data: ad impressions, ad completions, and points earned through ad engagement (collected via Google AdMob)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Google AdMob: Ad delivery and performance data including impressions, eCPM, and revenue metrics
- Payment processors (Venmo, CashApp): We do not store full financial account credentials; only the identifiers you provide are retained
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account on the Platform
- Enable you to participate in contests, submit tracks, and vote on artist entries
- Deliver advertisements through Google AdMob and track your eligibility for ad-based rewards
- Calculate and manage your points balance based on ad completions and contest activity
- Process payout eligibility and distribute payments to artists and fans who reach their respective tier thresholds
- Send you notifications related to your account, contests, and payouts
- Monitor and improve Platform performance, safety, and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
Mic2Money uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the Platform. When you watch an ad, the following occurs:
- AdMob records an impression tied to your device and session
- Revenue from that impression is credited to Mic2Money’s AdMob account
- Your in-app point balance is updated to reflect ad completion rewards
Google AdMob may collect and use data about your device and app usage to serve personalized ads. This data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
Ad types served on the Platform include Rewarded Video Ads (shown between songs in Contest Rooms to Fans and Voters) and Interstitial Ads (shown to Artists before or after contest entry submissions).
4. Points, Rewards, and Payouts
Mic2Money operates a points-based reward system. Here is how your data is used within this system:
- Your points balance is tracked in your user profile and visible to Platform administrators
- Artists become eligible for payout at 5,000 points; Fans and Voters become eligible at 12,000 points
- When you reach a payout threshold, an admin reviews your eligibility and initiates a payment to the Venmo or CashApp account you registered
- Upon payment, your qualifying points are deducted from your account
Payments are initiated manually by Mic2Money administrators using the payout account details you provided at sign-up. We store these identifiers securely and use them solely for the purpose of sending you your earned rewards.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform, including:
- Google AdMob (ad delivery and revenue tracking)
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Analytics providers to monitor Platform performance
5.2 Payment Processing
Your registered Venmo or CashApp identifier is used solely to send payouts you have earned. We do not share this information with advertisers or other third parties.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mic2Money, our users, or others.
5.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Platform if this occurs.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data

- Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format where technically feasible

8. Children’s Privacy
Mic2Money is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete their information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include secure data storage, encrypted transmission, and access controls limited to authorized personnel only.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
